how to check if a memecoin is a rug on axiom: the 30-second check

Before you buy, read the token page in one order: the Token Info panel's holder rows (Top 10 H., Dev H., Snipers H., Insiders, Bundlers), then the contract rows, then the dev (the DA line and the Dev Tokens tab), then who got in first (Early Buyers and Top Traders). It takes about 30 seconds. If a few wallets hold most of the supply, the chart went straight up on bundles, or the dev's history doesn't sit right, press Hide token or Blacklist dev and move on.

where the check happens

Open any token from Pulse or Discover. Three parts of the token page do the work:

An Axiom token page with the Token Info panel: Tax %, Top 10 H., Dev H., Snipers H., Insiders, Bundlers, LP Burned, Holders, Pro Traders and Dex Paid, then the CA and DA lines.

1. who holds the supply

Start at the holder rows. Axiom defines the matching Pulse filters:

There's no safe number for any of them. Luke Giroud's line, from his September setup video: cap top 10, snipers, insiders and bundle at 40%, then do his own checks on whatever passes. He keeps it loose because on a coin minutes old, Axiom can count plain early buyers as snipers.

If a coin opened on one huge candle, let the snipers finish. Wait for Snipers H. to fall and Holders to climb before you buy. Distribution evening out is the sign the early wallets have sold into the crowd.

How each figure is counted, and where it misreads: how to read bundles, snipers, insiders and dev hold.

2. was it bundled

Bundlers is the row that answers it. Axiom flags four or more transactions in the same block as a possible bundle, and drops a wallet whose next transaction isn't bundled. It counts bundles at any point in a coin's life, not only at launch, and a bundle doesn't have to come from the dev or team. No method is foolproof, so expect the odd miss and a figure that differs from other tools.

The chart tells you too. Luke points at a coin that went straight up to 12K in a single candle: "Like that's obviously just a bundle in the coin". Its warnings read bundler, bundler, bundler, all on block zero, the coin's first block.

3. the contract rows

4. the dev

An Axiom token page with the Dev Tokens tab open along the bottom, beside Trades, Holders, Top Traders and Early Buyers.

5. who got in first

Open Early Buyers and Top Traders along the bottom. Orangie's routine, from his beginners course on Orangie Web3, covers the same ground on DexScreener: paste the contract address, see which KOLs are top traders and which still hold, and check the bubble maps. The CA line on Token Info is where you copy the address from.

An Axiom token page with the Early Buyers tab open in the row of tabs along the bottom.

screen before you open

Most of these rows are Pulse filters too. Audit holds Top 10 Holders %, Dev Holding %, Snipers %, Insiders %, Bundle %, Holders and Pro Traders, plus Image Reuse, Dev Migrations and Dev Pairs Created. Socials holds Dex Paid. Cap them there and the worst coins never reach your screen.

Orangie's take, in the Brez video: much of the memecoin game is "trying to filter out all the slop", and the way through is due diligence on each coin. Filters do the first pass at speed. This check is the second.

what a check can't tell you

A clean read lowers the odds of the obvious rug. It doesn't make a coin safe. The rows are Axiom's labels, not verdicts, and only the bundle figure comes with a published rule. A dev can sell later, and early holders can dump into you whatever the panel said when you bought. Luke says the same of filters: they clear out most of the garbage, but they won't rule out a rug pull. Run the check on every coin, including ones someone you follow just bought. Orangie's rule is never to copy anyone blindly.

I swapped on Axiom and the token is gone

Check the tx on a Solana explorer first. Destination address and mint are the ground truth. Then enable that mint in the wallet. Do not swap again to find it.

What is Pulse on Axiom?

Axiom's live feed of new tokens in three columns: New Pairs, Final Stretch and Migrated. Every chain you leave switched on feeds the same columns, so one column mixes SOL, ETH, BNB, HYPE and USDC quotes. It is the second item in the top nav, after Discover.
