withdraw from kucoin to a wallet: network, memo, fee and minimum
Paste your wallet's address and check the network KuCoin picks from it against the one your wallet showed: Solana for a Phantom Solana address, and for an 0x address the EVM chain you mean to use. Enter a memo only if the receiving side shows you one. The fee and the minimum depend on the coin and network and show on the withdrawal page.
before you start
KuCoin withdraws from your Funding or Trading account. It needs either a phone number and trading password, or email, Google 2FA and trading password, set up in account security.
the steps
On the website:
- Assets, then Withdraw.
- Pick the coin. Paste the address from your wallet's receive screen.
- KuCoin matches a network to the address. Check it against the network your wallet showed you.
- Pick the account to pay from and type the amount. The network fee and what arrives show here.
- Submit, then pass the security check.
In the app, you begin at Assets, Overview, Withdraw, Withdrawal Crypto. If KuCoin can't work out the network from the address, it will ask you to choose one.
If the address belongs to another KuCoin account, KuCoin marks it Internal transfer by default: free, and with no on-chain TxID.
the network
KuCoin's rule: the network has to match the platform you're sending to, or the funds may be lost for good.
- Phantom. It has a single receive address for each network. Pick the network shown on Phantom's receive screen: Solana for SOL or USDC on Solana.
- MetaMask, or any 0x address. The same address works on all EVM chains, so the network decides which chain the funds arrive on. Select the chain you plan to use them on.
KuCoin lists SOL on one network, Solana, and USDC on networks including Arbitrum, Base and Solana, all three open for withdrawals.
memo or tag
A memo tells an address shared by many users which account the funds belong to. KuCoin takes XRP and XLM deposits that way. KuCoin marks SOL and USDC on Solana as needing none.
If the receiving side shows you a memo, enter it exactly. Your own wallet's address needs none.
fee and minimum
Both depend on the coin and the network, and the withdrawal page shows them before you submit. The table is KuCoin's minimum fee and minimum amount; the form's figure is the one that counts.
| coin, network | minimum fee | minimum |
|---|---|---|
| SOL, Solana | 0.008 SOL | 0.016 SOL |
| USDC, Solana | 1 USDC | 5 USDC |
| USDC, Arbitrum | 1 USDC | 5 USDC |
| USDC, Base | 0.5 USDC | 1 USDC |
address book
Save addresses you reuse under Address Book. KuCoin describes a switch on the website that only lets withdrawals go to favorite addresses, network included.
test small, then send the rest
Send a small amount to a new address first and wait for it to show in the wallet. KuCoin says it processes withdrawals within 30 minutes and checks larger ones by hand. Once one shows Succeeded, it can't be cancelled.
Wrong network already? withdrew from kucoin on the wrong network. The same checks for any exchange are in sending crypto from an exchange to your own wallet, and where to take it next is in from an exchange to on-chain.
People also ask
I withdrew from KuCoin on the wrong network. Can I get it back?
Pending: cancel it. Processing: contact KuCoin support now. Succeeded: KuCoin can't cancel it. On your own 0x wallet on another EVM chain it's at the same address there; at another exchange, ask that exchange with the TxID.
the full answerHow do I send crypto from an exchange to my own wallet?
Copy the address from the wallet's receive screen and pick the network the wallet showed you, not the cheapest one. A memo is only for a receiving side that asks for one. Send a small amount first, then the rest.
the full answerHow do I buy crypto on KuCoin?
By card under Buy Crypto, P2P from another user or a matched merchant, or a bank transfer into your fiat balance and a buy with that. KuCoin asks for identity verification first.
How do I get crypto from an exchange onto Solana, Hyperliquid or Robinhood Chain?
Buy on the exchange, withdraw to your own wallet on the network your next stop uses, then trade there. SOL on Solana for Axiom, Photon or Jupiter. USDC on Arbitrum for Hyperliquid, unless the exchange sends there directly. ETH on Ethereum, then bridged, for Robinhood Chain.
