how cook groups recruit, and how to get into one
Cook groups are small, invite-only groups of active traders, and they find you on X. You get noticed by networking and reaching out to people, posting your own original content, staying active, and having a trading history you can back up with successful trades. Getting in is the first step: keep your work rate up or you get kicked out.
what a cook group is
A group of traders who trade every day and share what they find. They're usually small, and everyone in one is expected to contribute: their own reads, their own finds. Nobody is there just to take calls.
how they recruit
Through networking on X. Nobody posts an ad. Members notice people whose work stands out, and people get noticed by reaching out.
What gets you noticed:
- Networking. Reach out to traders on X. Reply, talk, be someone people recognize.
- Your own original content. Your reads and your reasoning, not reposted calls. A repost says nothing about you.
- Being active. Post often and keep showing up. A quiet account is easy to miss.
- A history you can back up. Successful trades you can prove, not just talk about.
back it up with a wallet
A screenshot is a picture. A wallet is a record anyone can check, every buy and sell in order.
So have one you're happy to share. Anyone looking at you can drop the address into Axiom's wallet tracker, which takes any address you type, and watch your buys come in live. If your reads are good, the wallet shows it without you saying a word.
staying in
Getting in is the first step. The groups stay small, and a spot is for someone who's putting in work.
Keep posting reads, keep sharing finds, keep trading. Go quiet and stop contributing, and you get kicked. The work rate that got you noticed is the one that keeps you in.
a "cook group" that sells you a seat
Real ones recruit on your work. A group that sells you entry, or asks you to send crypto to join or enter a raffle, isn't recruiting that way. Phantom describes the ask: "They ask you to send crypto upfront to verify eligibility or cover fees."
A room selling calls can also be a room selling into you. Phantom's version: scammers "hype a token on social media, wait for the price to rise, then sell and crash the price." Before buying anything called, look at who holds it. Axiom's Insiders % is "Useful for identifying potential pump-and-dump risks"; how to read it.

Signing up through this link takes 10% off your Axiom trading fees, which signing up without one does not. We get a commission from Axiom, which helps support our work, at no extra cost to you. We might add tools for people who used our code.
Tapping the button puts apebrief on your clipboard and opens Axiom. Where the signup shows a code field, paste it there.

I swapped on Axiom and the token is gone
Check the tx on a Solana explorer first. Destination address and mint are the ground truth. Then enable that mint in the wallet. Do not swap again to find it.
the full answerHow do I use Pulse filters on Axiom?
Click the filters button in a column's header. The panel has a tab per column, chain icons across the top, include and exclude keywords, and Protocols, Audit, $ Metrics and Socials tabs. Axiom's docs don't say what Apply All covers, so check each column after.
the full answerWhat does Axiom actually charge?
Platform fee starts at 1% of the fill, plus priority you set, plus impact. A referral is a fee cut on the account if the field shows the code. Gas is separate.
