withdrew from okx on the wrong network
If it went to your own wallet, OKX says you can get it back yourself: the funds sit at your address on the chain you picked, and you send them back from that chain, which needs your wallet's recovery phrase or key and that chain's gas. If it went to another exchange, only that exchange's support can look. OKX can't reverse a sent withdrawal.
first, check the status
If it still shows Withdrawal Request or Pending, cancel it: OKX lets you do so within one minute, and the funds are returned. After that, a withdrawal on the blockchain can't be reversed.
your own wallet, wrong network
The funds are at your address on the network you picked. OKX's route back, for a wallet you hold the key to:
- Open that wallet on the network you sent on. OKX's example uses OKX Web3 wallet or MetaMask, adding the network if it isn't there.
- On OKX, Assets, Deposit. Pick the same crypto and the network you wrongly used, say USDT-ERC20 for USDT sent on Ethereum, and copy that deposit address.
- From the wallet, send the funds on that network to the address you copied. You pay the gas in that network's own coin.
- Once they land on OKX, withdraw again on the right network.
Only if the wallet is yours. You enter your recovery phrase into a wallet app yourself; nobody else ever needs it.
evm and non-evm crossed
An 0x address on a Solana network, or a Solana address on an EVM one, is a different case. MetaMask says the tokens are likely gone for good.
sent to another exchange
Contact that exchange's support with the TxID. OKX says a send to the wrong address can't be reversed from its side, and points you to the platform that gave you the address.
the other way: into okx on the wrong network
OKX sends a deposit on an unsupported network, or with a wrong or missing tag, to its customer support. It publishes no fee or time table for that.
nobody real DMs you about it
Ignore anyone who messages you offering to recover your funds. MetaMask says it will never message you or ask for your recovery phrase, and anyone who does is a scammer. Go through the exchange's own support, from its own site.
Next time, the network check is on withdraw from okx to a wallet, and the same checks for any exchange are on sending crypto from an exchange to your own wallet.
People also ask
Which network do I pick to withdraw from OKX to my wallet?
The one your wallet receives on: Solana for a Phantom Solana address, the chain you plan to use for an 0x address. A tag only for coins such as XRP. The fee and minimum show on the form; you can cancel within one minute while pending.
the full answerHow do I send crypto from an exchange to my own wallet?
Copy the address from the wallet's receive screen and pick the network the wallet showed you, not the cheapest one. A memo is only for a receiving side that asks for one. Send a small amount first, then the rest.
the full answerHow do I get crypto from an exchange onto Solana, Hyperliquid or Robinhood Chain?
Buy on the exchange, withdraw to your own wallet on the network your next stop uses, then trade there. SOL on Solana for Axiom, Photon or Jupiter. USDC on Arbitrum for Hyperliquid, unless the exchange sends there directly. ETH on Ethereum, then bridged, for Robinhood Chain.
