# gmgn vs axiom: the fee, the mev settings and the tools

Both start at 1% a trade. Axiom goes under that: a referral-link signup takes 10% off trading fees, and cashback in SOL takes the net fee to 0.75% at the top tier. GMGN's 1% comes with "no additional charges" and tools built around automation: copy trading, an X tracker that can auto-buy, and trailing take-profit and stop-loss. Pick Axiom for the lower net fee and one screen for memecoins, perps and predictions. Pick GMGN if you want rules placing your trades.

## the fee

GMGN charges 1% of each trade and says there are no additional charges. Its own example: a 1 SOL trade, a 0.01 SOL fee. Priority and tip fees go to the network, not to GMGN.

Axiom also starts at 1%, so the same 1 SOL buy is 0.01 SOL at the start. Two things bring it down. Sign up through a referral link and you pay 10% less on trading fees: 0.009 SOL on that buy. And Axiom pays cashback in SOL against its fee, by tier: a net 0.95% at the lowest tier, 0.0095 SOL, down to a net 0.75% at the top, 0.0075 SOL. Either way, a round trip is 2% at the start, before priority fee, tip and price impact.

## mev protection and priority

Both venues give you three modes with the same names: Off, Reduced and Secure.

**On GMGN**, Off sends your trade to all nodes, very fast. Reduced sends it to limited nodes, fast, but it may be front-run. Secure sends it to safe nodes, slightly slower, with compensation. To switch Anti-MEV on, your priority fee has to be at least 0.002 SOL. Priority and tip each start at 0.0001 SOL and top out at 2 SOL.

**On Axiom**, Off leaves your trades exposed to front-running. Reduced goes through Jito, but rogue validators may still be involved. Secure waits for a whitelisted validator, which can be slower, and it's the mode Axiom recommends. The hand-and-coin icon in the top right shows the current minimum MEV bribe: set yours above it. PRIO and Bribe default to 0.001, and Axiom works out recommended values for both.

## what gmgn is built around

Rules that trade for you, and Telegram.

- **Copy trade.** Pick a wallet and GMGN copies its buys and sells, or sells your copy at your own take-profit and stop-loss. Up to 10 copy tasks, Solana only, and you need to be logged in with Telegram. Each copied trade costs the amount, the priority fee and the 1% fee.
- **Auto trading.** Buy with a take-profit or stop-loss already set. Trailing take profit switches on at your target, holds while the price keeps rising, and closes when it falls back by the percentage you set. There's a trailing stop-loss too.

## before you let a rule trade for you

Automation spends money at someone else's pace. GMGN's own copy-trade page warns that copying a busy wallet "may quickly consume your SOL balance" in fees. Whichever venue you use, set the size per trade before you switch anything on, and keep it small until you've watched it run.
