# did the hyperliquid code attach

Hyperliquid puts referral codes in one place, the referrals page: a code is entered there or applied by using a referral link, and it gives a 4% discount on fees for your first $25M in volume.

## how to check

1. Check the address in the corner is your main account. Sub-accounts and vaults don't get the discount, so trade from the account the code is on.
2. Open the referrals page on that address and screenshot what it shows.
3. No code yet? Enter one on the referrals page.

Don't judge it from one fill: your volume tier, any staking discount and any builder fee all move the rate too. The tiers are on the [fees page](/hyperliquid/fees/).

## if you trade through another app

Apps built on Hyperliquid can add a builder fee per order, up to 0.1% on perps and 1% on spot. You approve a maximum the first time you use one, and you can revoke it at any time.

## if it didn't attach

Nothing is stuck and nothing was taken. Add the code on the referrals page, or ask Hyperliquid with your address and the date you entered it. If you're setting up a new account, the link below is our referral link.

> **code APEBRIEF.** Open Hyperliquid through https://go.apebrief.com/hyperliquid/attach-001-end?src=md&asset=hyperliquid%2Fcode-attached&cta=after-resolution and paste the code where the signup shows a code field. Using this code takes 4% off your Hyperliquid fees for your first $25M of volume, which trading without a code does not. We get a commission from Hyperliquid, which helps support our work, at no extra cost to you.

## related questions

- **Hyperliquid referral code** Entered on the referrals page or by link. 4% off taker fees for your first $25M, per the docs. Not for vaults or sub-accounts. Not an Axiom code.
- **Hyperliquid taker fee?** Base perp taker 0.045%, maker 0.015%, 14-day tiers. A referral is a fee cut on the first stretch of volume. Not a cut of the notional. This page does not send you to Axiom.
- **Where is deposit on Hyperliquid?** Balances panel, Deposit, usually USDC via Arbitrum. Read the chain the UI asks for. Mainnet ETH to a Hyperliquid address is how people lose a day.
