# withdrew from bybit on the wrong network

Bybit offers no way to pull a withdrawal back: it sends you to the receiving wallet or exchange with the TXID. Where it landed decides the rest. On your own 0x wallet, on a different EVM chain, it is at the same address on that chain. If another exchange refunds it to Bybit, Bybit has a self-service appeal to credit it.

## first, find where it went

Open the withdrawal under **Funding Account**, **History**, **Withdraw** and take its TXID from the details. Look it up on the explorer for the chain you picked. The receiving address and the chain there are the facts; the rest of this page sorts by them.

## your own wallet, another evm chain

Say you sent USDC to your MetaMask address on BSC when you meant Arbitrum. Your address is the same on every EVM chain, so MetaMask files this under recoverable: the funds are there. Switch the wallet to the chain you sent on and they show. From there you can bridge them where you meant them to go.

## evm and non-evm crossed

An 0x address on a Solana chain, or a Solana address on an EVM one, is a different case. MetaMask says the tokens are likely gone for good, because an address on one kind of network does not match any address on the other.

## sent to another exchange

Contact that exchange's support with the TXID. Bybit sends you there for any completed withdrawal that didn't arrive, and it won't answer for coins sent without a tag or memo the other side needed.

If that exchange rejects the deposit and sends it back to Bybit, you can claim it:

1. **More**, **Help Center**, **Crypto Deposit not arrived**, then **Refund from an external exchange**.
2. Enter the coin, the chain, and the details of your Bybit withdrawal, its TXID among them.
3. Enter the refund's amount and TXID, from the other exchange. Don't put Bybit's withdrawal TXID in the refund field.
4. Upload one unedited screen recording: you signing in to the other exchange, its refund record, the refund on the explorer, and your Bybit withdrawal. Under 200MB, MP4 or MOV.

This only works after the other exchange has really refunded it. Bybit sends a result by email within 1-3 working days and credits the coins to your **Funding Account**.

## the other way: into bybit on the wrong network

A deposit into Bybit of a coin or chain it doesn't support has its own recovery. Check **Funding Account**, **History**, **Deposit** first.

- **It shows on the Pending Asset page.** Withdraw it yourself from there, under **Unsupported Coin**, to a wallet outside Bybit on the same chain. The USDT handling fee shows in that window.
- **It doesn't.** Fill in Bybit's Asset Recovery form. Bybit only takes cases worth more than $500, takes a fixed 200 USD fee out of what it recovers, and reviews in 3-5 working days.

Bybit says a recovery it can't perform is a permanent loss, and the fee isn't refunded once charged. Deposits on KCC, OEC, Ronin and Cronos can't be recovered at all.

## nobody real DMs you about it

Ignore anyone who messages you offering to recover your funds. MetaMask says it will never message you or ask for your recovery phrase, and anyone who does is a scammer. Go through the exchange's own support, from its own site.

## related questions

- **Which chain do I pick to withdraw from Bybit to my wallet?** The one your wallet receives on: SOL for a Phantom Solana address, the chain you plan to use for an 0x address. Enter a tag or memo only if the receiving side shows one. The fee and minimum show once you pick the chain.
- **How do I send crypto from an exchange to my own wallet?** Copy the address from the wallet's receive screen and pick the network the wallet showed you, not the cheapest one. A memo is only for a receiving side that asks for one. Send a small amount first, then the rest.
- **How do I get crypto from an exchange onto Solana, Hyperliquid or Robinhood Chain?** Buy on the exchange, withdraw to your own wallet on the network your next stop uses, then trade there. SOL on Solana for Axiom, Photon or Jupiter. USDC on Arbitrum for Hyperliquid, unless the exchange sends there directly. ETH on Ethereum, then bridged, for Robinhood Chain.

## when this is not enough

For USDC headed to Hyperliquid, it names one network to pick when an exchange cannot send there directly, Arbitrum, so there is one choice to get right on the form. [how to bridge to hyperliquid, and when you can skip arbitrum](https://apebrief.com/hyperliquid/bridge/)

Signing up on our code gets you Hyperliquid's referral discount, and we get a commission from Hyperliquid, which helps support our work.
