# how to add wallets and move SOL between them on axiom Your wallets are on Portfolio's Wallets tab. the add-wallet and import buttons add one, and the panel beside the list moves funds between your own Axiom wallets: drag a wallet into Source wallets, pick a Destination, then Start Transfer. ## add a wallet 1. Open Portfolio, then the Wallets tab. 2. Click the add-wallet button for a new one, or the import button to bring one in. 3. Name it. Axiom pitches names as a way to keep strategies apart. Pick the Destination. 3. Click Start Transfer. This only moves money between wallets on your own Axiom account. Sending to an outside address is a different job: [how to withdraw from axiom: the recovery phrase route](/axiom/withdraw/). ## claim rent **Claim Rent** is a button on the same tab, and Axiom doesn't describe it. On Solana, every account holds a deposit that "can be recovered when the account is closed". Axiom doesn't say which accounts the button closes, what comes back or what it charges. ## what axiom doesn't cover - Whether a transfer moves tokens or only SOL. The panel says "Drag wallets to transfer from", and Axiom doesn't say. - What a transfer costs. - Any private or hidden transfer between wallets. Axiom describes none. Open that wallet and send. Axiom is not holding a queue. If the token is hidden, enable the mint in the wallet list. - **Where is deposit on Axiom?** Click the labelled Deposit button in the top bar, not an arrow. It opens a panel titled Exchange, and its Deposit tab shows the address of the wallet Axiom generated for your account. Send SOL there, on Solana.
