# axiom fees: what a round trip costs

Axiom's platform fee starts at 1% of the trade. Signing up through a referral link takes 10% off it.

That 1% is Axiom's starting platform fee. It is not Solana gas and it is not the pool's price impact. Priority fee is separate and you set it yourself. A round trip on a $1,000 position, buy and sell, is about $20 in platform fees before any discount, plus gas, plus whatever the pool took in slippage.

| on a $1,000 fill | |
|---|---|
| fee without the code | $10.00 |
| fee with the code | $9.00 |
| you keep | $1.00 |

Program math from the sources below, not a quote. Rates move; check the date on this page before you size.

## the number, written out

| On a $1,000 fill | No referral | Referral attached |
|---|---|---|
| Platform fee (1% start) | $10.00 | **$9.00** |
| What you keep | n/a | $1.00 |

The 10% discount comes off the 1% start, so the fee on that fill drops from $10.00 to $9.00.

## the 1% is not the last word

Axiom also pays cashback in SOL out of its own trading fee, and it states the resulting net rate per tier: 0.95% at the lowest tier with 0.05% back, up to 0.75% with 0.25% back at the top. So Axiom's own floor is 0.95%, not 1%, and the table above is the number before that rebate.

Axiom doesn't say how cashback and the referral discount combine. The [fee tier table](/axiom/fee-tiers/) has the full ladder.

## what a referral doesn't change

- Your [priority fee](/axiom/solana-priority-fee/), your [Jito tip](/axiom/jito-tip/) or the pool's price impact. It only cuts Axiom's fee.
- Anything on Photon or Hyperliquid. Those have their own codes.

## check it on your next trade

Place a small trade and read the fee line on the confirmation. Cashback tiers also move the rate, so if it looks off, the [code-attached page](/axiom/code-attached/) has the check.

The link below is our referral link. Already on Axiom without a code? Open a new account through it ([how](/axiom/referral/)) and send your SOL across.

> **code apebrief.** Open Axiom through https://go.apebrief.com/axiom/fees-inline?src=md&asset=axiom%2Ffees&cta=after-resolution and paste the code where the signup shows a code field. Signing up through this link takes 10% off your Axiom trading fees, which signing up without one does not. We get a commission from Axiom, which helps support our work, at no extra cost to you.

## related questions

- **Axiom referral code, which one is real?** The official program is a 10% fee cut for you, attached at signup through a link. Pages that print a bigger discount are not citing Axiom docs.
- **Did the Axiom code attach?** Axiom attaches a referral when you sign up through a referral link, and offers no documented way to add one later or confirm it on screen.
- **What does Axiom actually charge?** Platform fee starts at 1% of the fill, plus priority you set, plus impact. A referral is a fee cut on the account if the field shows the code. Gas is separate.
- **Where is deposit on Axiom?** Click the labelled Deposit button in the top bar, not an arrow. It opens a panel titled Exchange, and its Deposit tab shows the address of the wallet Axiom generated for your account. Send SOL there, on Solana. Your old wallet's balance is not your Axiom balance.
